ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Craig L. Tremaroli was named the new special agent in charge of the Albany Field Office. Director Christopher Wray made the announcement on Monday. Before joining the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Tremaroli earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a master's degree from the University of Central Florida. He was a police officer and detective in Florida.According to the FBI, Tremaroli joined the FBI as a special agent, working in violent crime, gang, and transnational organized crime investigations at the Indianapolis Field Office. WASHINGTON, Mo. - A Hermann police officer, severely wounded in a deadly shooting earlier this year, is finally coming home.This heartwarming homecoming comes after months of intensive rehabilitation in a Colorado hospital. Officer Adam Sullentrup is set to return to his hometown of Washington, Missouri, just in time for Thanksgiving.His recovery has been an inspiring journey. Ofc. Sullentrup and Hermann Detective Sgt. Mason Griffith were serving a warrant at a Casey's general store in Hermann back in March.Investigators said 34-year-old Kenneth Simpson opened fire on the officers, tragically killing Mason Griffith and severely injuring Sullentrup. ST. LOUIS - St. Louis police are investigating an overnight murder at a south St. Louis City apartment building.Police just cleared the area a short time ago at the 'Broadway Bluffs Apartments' on the 5700 block of South Broadway, just off Bates, and not far from I-55 earlier. FOX 2 captured video of police bringing out an adult male in handcuffs.At this point, it's unclear what that person's connection to the homicide here might be. However, police are confirming that a suspect is in custody in connection with the homicide. ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Supreme Court declines to hear Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft's appeal about the wording of an abortion ballot issue. Two weeks ago, a circuit judge ruled. Ashcroft's wording on the issue was politically partisan. He called abortions "dangerous." Missouri soldier awarded medal for saving drowning family A lower court rewrote the ballot issue. Ashcroft appealed to the Missouri Supreme Court, which refused to get involved.The issue now asks voters if they want to amend the constitution to "establish a right to make decisions about reproductive health care."
